Blog 1

So, this is the first blog and I am hoping to add more soon. A lot has happened to me over the past several years, the end result being 1) my shifting from modern Christianity to a Messianic belief, and 2) my moving back home, after swearing there was no way on earth I would, to go back to school after being out for 9 years. My life is changing in ways I never thought it would. It has been and is going to continue to be scary, but inevitably worth it all in the end

A little about me. I was born and raised in north Texas, I was home schooled from the 3rd grade until I graduated high school, was a photographer for 7 years, have been in childcare for the past 9 plus years, but my passion is writing. To me writing is a way to discover yourself, who you really are and what you believe. More often than not, for me, writing is a way to see the big picture of things and where they went wrong and what caused them. We are defined as people not by what we look like or what job we have, but how we react. Who we are is defined by our choices. We always have a choice, good or bad, right or wrong, ethical or non, it is a choice. One of my greatest pet peeves is when there is a person who continues to say "I'm sorry. I need to work on that," referring to a personal trait of theirs, but never making a move to correct it. It is just empty words. You may as well not speak it if you do not intend to do anything about it; it just makes you look like a fool.

Anyway, I'll re-post soon. Maybe I'll just start from the beginning and share my story. Maybe my trials and tribulations will help someone going through something similar. Just remember, you always have a choice; choose wisely.
